When making a tapestry as well as an engraving my purpose is to weave an idea with a creative process that unites them. The common thread is fiber or the absence thereof. At times the image is the support and the fiber the protagonist. Beyond translating drawing, photographs or paintings weaving has become an art form, a means of expression in and of of itself.
